It’s upsetting and tragic, but many accidents end up being deadly. Unfortunately, these accidents happen all too often, especially here in the Evergreen state. The latest deadly accident to have happened in Washington took place this Sunday morning.
According to the Washington State Patrol, an SUV driven by an older man was traveling the opposite way of a vehicle carrying a woman. A second car followed her carrying her husband and their infant child. All of a sudden, the SUV crossed the center line, traveling into the path of the two vehicles. While the female driver’s car sideswiped the SUV, her husband’s car collided with the SUV head-on.
The father and infant were declared dead at the scene while the child’s mother was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
The SUV driver was critically injured.
While the infant was properly restrained in her infant car seat, she did not survive the collision.
This tragic, heartbreaking accident has caused us a great deal of sorrow. We hope the victims’ family is being able to receive the support and attention they require in this time of great pain and grief.
