Hit-And-Run Seattle Crash Results In Serious Injuries

According to a series of news reports, one person was seriously injured in a crash that remains under investigation. As personal injury attorneys, learning that this crash occurred in Seattle and that the driver involved is still at large makes us wonder whether other motorists out there are unaware of the importance of focusing on the road, driving safely, and never leaving the site of a crash until the authorities arrive.

According to witnesses who later spoke with the Washington State Patrol, a car was traveling at high speeds around 4:30 am Tuesday when the driver apparently lost control of the vehicle. As a result, the vehicle crashed into a gold Chevrolet Tahoe.

The impact was so strong that it pushed the Tahoe over the right barrier of the Interstate 5, causing the vehicle to fall 30 feet into a Seattle Department of Transportation parking lot near Spokane Street.

The driver suffered serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital for care. After the crash, the vehicle responsible for the accident continued to travel on the southbound lanes of the road. Witness say that the vehicle was a dark 4-door sedan, but no further details were made available.

If you saw anything that could help officials to find the guilty party, reach out to the WSP as soon as possible.

We hope that the victim in this horrific crash is able to recover promptly and fully in a short time. We hope that he or she is also receiving the full attention and support they need in this tough time. We know how difficult a crash can be and how the aftermath is usually the most difficult to deal with. As the bills pile up, victims are stuck with the burden on their own while those who are to blame are seldom brought to justice — we hope this isn’t this case this time.
