A Seattle accident involving a construction worker resulted in injuries. Officials say they believe the man fell several stories. Thankfully, he landed in a net.
The downtown Seattle accident happened at Lenora Street and Eighth Avenue. On Monday at 11 a.m., the 30-year-old man reportedly fell eight stories from the 20th to the 12th floor. A safety net was in place. This appears to have helped to prevent deadly injuries.
The man suffered injuries to his lower limbs. Reporters believe that he may have hit something on his way down. This could be the reason why the safety net structure was bent.
While his current condition is unknown, he was quickly taken to Harborview Medical Center for treatment.
