Prior to the coronavirus pandemic, one in every ten Washingtonians struggled with hunger. According to recent data, the economic hardship caused by COVID-19 doubled the number of people in need of food assistance in the Evergreen state. From about 850,000 people just a year ago, Washington now has 1.6 million people in need of help.
We simply can’t sit back and watch as our communities struggle.
As COVID-19 continues to impact a growing number of people in Washington state, Bernard Law Group is joining forces with Food Lifeline this holiday season. The goal is to help countless families get the nutritious food they need to thrive. Unfortunately, we cannot do this without your help.
Currently, Food Lifeline provides the equivalent of 134,000 meals every single day across Washington state. To reach the other hundreds of thousands in need of help, however, we need to double our efforts.
Thanks to our partnership, for every $1 donated through our online donation center, Food Lifeline will provide five meals to needy families.
With your help, we will raise enough funds to help the over one million Washingtonians who are now suffering due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Serving Our Community
As we reach out to our families, friends and networks for support, we hope to carry on with our effort to serve the people of our community through thoughtful action. With the help of Food Lifeline, we hope to use what we have learned during the past 30 years of service to help families hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Helping victims of negligence to recover and get back on their feet has always been our calling. Now, we are asking you to join us. We are confident we will get through this together.
