The latest crash reports from Washington state include two incidents involving a motorcyclist and a driver who unfortunately lost their lives as a result of their injuries.
The first crash claimed the life of a 19-year-old woman from Granite Falls. She was was driving her vehicle on the northbound lanes of Quarry Road after 3 in the morning when her vehicle turned in front of a truck traveling in the opposite direction. According to the authorities, the woman died at the scene of the impact.
The truck driver involved in this crash was rushed to the hospital, but details on his condition were not revealed.
The second crash involved a motorcyclist who was traveling on the westbound lanes of Interstate 90 when, just west of the summit, the motorcyclist crashed. Details regarding the accident were not readily available. Nevertheless, the road was blocked for some time after authorities arrived at the scene.
The authorities are now investigating the crash to determine the factor that led to the accident.
