Distracted Driving Behind Highway 395 Crash, Officials Say

Distracted driving is responsible for about 2.5 million car crashes around the world. Teen drivers are the most impacted, with 58% of crashes involving young motorists being the result of distracted driving.

In the United States alone, distracted driving-related accidents claim nine lives every day. Despite these staggering statistics, drivers often ignore the risks associated with inattentive driving, putting their lives and the lives of others in grave danger.
