One woman was injured in a car accident Tuesday evening on state Highway 503 in the Chelatchie Prairie area of far-northeast Clark County, according to news reports.
The car accident occurred around shortly before 6:40 p.m. when troopers received a call about a vehicle in a ditch, according to the Washington State Patrol. It is unclear how the accident occurred, but the driver of the vehicle was injured in the crash.
The 71-year-old woman was transported by Life Flight helicopter to Southwest Washington Medical Center, according to news reports. She is reportedly in serious condition.
The crash closed parts of the road for nearly two hours. “Chelatchie Creek crosses Highway 503 twice near the southern base of Yale Bridge Road and again southwest of there, near Amboy,” according to news reports.
As a Vancouver car accident attorney, I’m saddened to hear about this car accident that injured the driver. I hope the woman is able to experience a full and speedy recovery. I hope investigators can determine exactly how this collision occurred so they can help ensure a collision like this doesn’t occur again.
