Woman Ejected from Vehicle in Spokane Crash

Two people were injured in a car accident Tuesday along Mount Spokane Park Drive near Spokane, according to news reports.

The car accident occurred around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday when a 32-year-old Spokane woman was driving west on Mount Spokane Park Drive. As she was traveling, she reportedly lost control of her SUV while maneuvering a curve to the right and drove off the roadway, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Her 1997 Ford Explorer crashed, ejecting a 30-year-old female passenger who was not wearing a seatbelt. The driver, who was also not wearing a seatbelt, was also ejected.

Both women were transported to Providence Holy Family Hospital. They have since been released, according to news reports.

Troopers suspect drugs or alcohol may have been factors in the collision. Charges against the driver are pending while the accident is investigated, according to news reports.

As a Spokane car accident attorney, I’m saddened to hear about this car accident. I hope the women are able to make a full and speedy recovery. I hope that driving under the influence didn’t play a role in this collision.
