Two Injured in Three-Car Crash in Maple Valley

Two people were injured in a car accident early Wednesday in Maple Valley, according to news reports.

The accident occurred around early Wednesday when a driver of a car heading south on Highway 169 reportedly lost control of the vehicle, crossed the center line and struck another vehicle head-on, according to news reports. A third vehicle then struck the victim car.

Two people were injured in the collision, including the driver of the car that crossed into oncoming traffic and the driver of the vehicle that was struck. Both were reportedly transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Emergency personnel had to peel back one of the vehicle’s roofs to extract the driver.

It is unclear exactly what caused the incident. Investigators are working to determine all the factors in the crash.
