Two Injured in Road Rage Crash

Two people were injured in a road rage accident Monday near Sumner, Wash., according to news reports.

The accident occurred around 2 a.m. Monday when the victims were driving south on SR-167 near SR-410. As they were traveling, a car reportedly drove up from behind and passed them in the inside shoulder.

“The victims began to exit onto SR-410 but the driver of the other car rolled down his passenger side window and fired a single shot into the car,” troopers said to news reports. “The bullet hit the arm of an 18-year-old man in the left rear passenger seat. The bullet continued through the right front passenger seat, striking a 17-year-old girl in the back.”

Police were unable to find track down the shooter.

The victims were transported to a local hospital. They were treated and released from a nearby hospital.
