Teen in Intensive Care after Crash

A 13-year-old girl is recovering after a serious pedestrian accident in Burien on Sunday, according to news reports.

The teenage is in the intensive care unit after a pickup truck plowed into her and shattered bones throughout her body. She scheduled to undergo a series of surgeries on Tuesday.

The accident occurred Sunday evening in Burien when a woman was crossing in or near a crosswalk on Ambaum Boulevard near 154th Street, according to news reports. As she was crossing, she was hit by a pickup truck.
