Washington State Patrol finally caught a hit-and-run suspect, according to several news sources.

Official reports released by the authorities have revealed that a WSP trooper was called to aid officers to put a 23-year-old man from Tacoma in a patrol car when he reportedly bit the trooper’s hand.

The hit-and-run accident that happened last Tuesday involved three vehicles. Injuries were reported but the accident resulted in no fatalities, according to the news. The hit-and-run suspect was arrested in Purdy and the trooper who had his hand bitten by the man was immediately treated in a local Hospital.

No further details were immediately available.

As an Everett car accident lawyer, I’m sincerely glad the authorities were able to find the hit-and-run suspect in this accident. I encourage drivers to keep it in mind that you should never flee the scene of an accident. Stay and aid the authorities in any way you can. I also urge you to never drink and drive. Whenever you’re intoxicated while driving, the risk of being involved in an accident increases. An accident not only affects those who are injured, but also those close to the victims. Be responsible.

Whenever you or a loved one is injured in an accident that was caused by a drunken driver, please consider contacting a personal injury lawyer near you to ask about the legal options available to your case.
