Several news outlets have been reporting an accident on Interstate 90 that involved a truck and a U.S. Army Humvee.
According to the official reports from the Washington State Patrol, a 23-year-old driver from Spokane was going eastbound on Interstate 90 just before 5 a.m. when the Humvee, driven by a 22-year-old soldier, and the truck collided. Authorities claimed both drivers sustained moderate injuries and were treated at the scene of the accident.
The inattention of the truck driver was said to have caused the accident since he failed to adjust his speed for the freeway conditions at the moment of the crash.
The Washington State Patrol didn’t release any other details regarding this case.
As a Seattle car accident attorney, I’m glad that nobody was injured as a result of this accident. I urge motorists to be extremely careful whenever driving on a road they are not familiar with. Stay alert and follow the speed limit signs to avoid possible accidents.
I encourage readers to remember that if you or a loved one is ever injured in an accident caused by a driver that was inattentive, contact a personal injury lawyer in your city to assess your case.
