Rollover Crash Injures Driver

One woman was injured in a rollover car accident in Burien early Wednesday, according to news reports.

The accident occurred when the woman was reportedly speeding on State Route 509. Washington State Patrol troopers said the woman, who is in her 20s, was driving in the southbound lanes of 509 near 128th Street when she tried to change lanes and hit the other car, causing her vehicle to roll onto its top.

The woman had to be extracted from the vehicle by crews with the Burien/Normandy Park Fire Department, according to news reports.

She was transported to the hospital with injuries, but is expected to recover.

The other driver did not sustain injuries, according to news reports.

It is unclear if the woman was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash or if she suffered from some sort of medical problem, causing the collision.

As an Everett personal injury lawyer, I’m saddened to hear about this car accident. I hope this woman wasn’t driving drunk when this crash occurred. I hope she is able to experience a full and speedy recovery.
