Several news outlets have been reporting that Safeway Snack Artist Sugar Free Bite-Sized Chocolate Chip Cookies manufactured by D. F. Stauffer Biscuit Co, Inc. was immediately and voluntarily recalled due to an incorrect rear label, which does not declare the contents of milk and egg.

This could be hazardous to the health of individuals with allergy to these items. This product is sold in stores like Safeway, Carrs, Dominick’s, Genuardi’s, Pak ‘N Save, Pavilions, Randalls, Tom Thumb and Vans.

Consumers should follow the company’s instructions and return the recalled items to place of purchase for a full refund.

As a Renton personal injury lawyer, I hope this recalled item doesn’t cause any severe allergic reactions in any consumer. I urge all readers to check if they have this mislabeled product in their possession immediately.

Whenever you or a loved one sustains a severe illness as a result of the consumption of a recalled food item, ask a personal injury lawyer for a free evaluation of your case at once.
