A 24-year-old woman was struck by a car early Saturday in South Seattle, according to news reports.
The woman was crossing the South Holgate Street and Airport Way South in a crosswalk when she was struck by a car around 1:45 a.m. The woman was injured and taken to Harborview Medical Center. The driver who hit her, however, drove off.
Police are now looking for the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run. According to news reports, Seattle police said the suspect vehicle may be a white or light-colored Honda or Toyota coupe. The vehicle should have obvious front-end damage.
The Seattle hit-and-run victim is recovering from her injuries, according to news reports. Her condition is unknown.
