A man died in a motorcycle accident Saturday on Interstate 90 near Safeco Field, according to news reports.
The fatal motorcycle accident occurred around 5:57 p.m. when a 24-year-old man was driving a motorcycle on the interstate. He reportedly attempted to make a lane change when he crashed into a concrete barrier on I-90.
The Silverdale man died at the scene of the accident, east of the ramp for 4th Avenue South, not far from Safeco Field, according to the Washington State Patrol.
A 12-year-old girl who was a passenger on the motorcycle was injured in the crash. She was transported to Harborview Medical Center with serious, but non life-threatening injuries, according to news reports.
