One man died in a motorcycle accident near Lacey on Wednesday evening in a drunken driving incident, according to news reports.
The accident occurred Wednesday night when a 55-year-old Shelton man was riding his motorcycle. A 39-year-old man from Lacey who had been drinking, crashed into the motorcyclist.
The motorcyclist died at the scene. It is unclear if the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet. It is also unclear what his blood alcohol levels were.
The drunken driver was booked into the Thurston County Jail for investigations of vehicular homicide, according to news reports. It is unclear whether the driver sustained any injuries as a result of the collision.
