A Wisconsin man died Tuesday in a motorcycle accident in Lacey, Wash., according to news reports.
The fatal accident occurred around 3 a.m. when the 22-year-old man was driving his Suzuki GSXR 1000 motorcycle at high speeds in Lacey. As he maneuvered a curve in the roadway at the 10300 block of Martin Way East he lost control of the bike, according to news reports.
Although the man was wearing a helmet, he reportedly died at the scenes from injuries sustained in the crash. His name has not been released.
Washington State Patrol Troopers said the man was likely speeding because debris from the crash site was spread over an area 720 feet long.
