Two people died in a collision with a mobile home near Yakima on Saturday, according to news reports.

Two people died in a collision with a mobile home near Yakima on Saturday, according to news reports.

The collision occurred when a 22-year-old man was driving a 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer at high speeds when he lost control of the vehicle on Valley Mall Boulevard. He drove of the roadway and crashed into an unoccupied mobile home in Union Gap, according to news reports.

The 22-year-old driver and a 15-year-old passenger were killed. Another 15-year-old passenger was injured.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the three victims were all wearing seatbelts. It is unknown if drugs or alcohol played a role in the collision, however, police believe speeding contributed to the crash.
