One man died in a train accident early Wednesday morning near Marysville, according to news reports.
The fatal pedestrian accident occurred when a man was reportedly walking along train tracks near the intersection of 4th and Cedar Avenue. It is unclear why he was on the train tracks or for how long he was on the tracks, but Marysville police said he was struck by a train around 3:30 a.m., according to news reports.
The man, whose name or age has not been released, died at the scene of the collision.
Washington State Patrol troopers also said that traffic was blocked in the area because of the investigation.
It is unclear whether any factors played a role in the deadly train collision.
