In accordance with several news outlets, a man from Bellevue was involved in an accident last Sunday afternoon that left him injured.

The official reports from the Washington State Patrol have revealed that the 44-year-old driver from Bellevue was driving eastbound on Interstate 90 when he lost grip of his vehicle, drifted off the road and hit a barrier. The impact forced the Volkswagen Passat the man was driving back into the road where it collided against an oncoming Mitsubishi Lancer, which was driven by a 21-year-old motorist from Kent.

The accident happened just five miles east of Easton. According to the official reports, the 21-year-old driver wasn’t harmed in any way and was able to leave the scene of the accident after the authorities were done with the investigation.

Officials claimed driving too fast for the road conditions was the sole cause of the accident.

As a Bellevue car accident lawyer, I urge motorists to never go above the speed limit. Driving too fast can cause severe accidents that could lead to even more severe ramifications. Focus on the road ahead and practice safe driving at all times.

Whenever you’re involved in an accident caused by a motorist that was driving too fast for the conditions of the road, ask a personal injury lawyer for a free evaluation of your case.
