iPhone 4 Recall… Should There Be One?

As you know, as a Seattle personal injury lawyer, I try to keep you informed of recalls that are of top importance when it comes to you and your families safety. Lately there have been a storm of recalls in the news, everything ranging from Toyota, to Tylenol, to E. Coli contaminated food. But one thing that’s on the tip of everyone’s tongue is, “Will there be an iPhone 4 recall?”

It’s too early to say for sure but many times that a recall takes place it’s because there’s an inherent danger to the public’s safety. There is no such danger with the iPhone 4 as of right now. In fact the “only thing wrong” with the iPhone 4 is that it may drop a call if you hole it a certain way (by covering a gap in the phone’s antenna . If you own a protective bumper for your phone you don’t experience this issue at all.

Now this is not the best way to increase periphery upsells for Apple, if they’re not going to fix the phone they should at least provide the bumpers free of charge to their users. But heck I want to protect my phone at all costs anyways so I’d purchased the bumper right when I buy the phone.

So I guess we’re all going to have to wait and see how Apple handles the situation and in the meantime try not to drop any calls. As you know use a hands-free head set if you’re going to be talking on your phone while driving to help you avoid car accidents. Also leave the texting for when you get to where you need to be.
