According to several local news sources, icy roads have contributed to at least two accidents in Klickitat County.

The official reports recently released by the Washington State Patrol have revealed that the most recent accident occurred when a Buick Rendevous and a Ford Explorer collided on the SR-141 leaving at least four people injured.

According to the authorities, the 30-year-old driver from Outlook lost control over her Ford Explorer on the road that was covered by snow at the time of the accident, crossed the centerline and slid straight into the path of the Buick Rendevous. The accident happened around 7 p.m. and official reports did not disclose the details related to the victims’ injuries.

The WSP has urged drivers in Washington to pay close attention to the road conditions before they leave their homes.
