Four people were injured in a rear-end car accident early Friday near Moxee, Wash., according to news reports.
The car accident occurred around 3:15 a.m. on State Route 24 when a 41-year-old Yakima man was driving a 1989 Ford Econoline van east on the highway, about five miles west of Moxee. As he was driving, he came to an intersection where another vehicle was stopped. He did not stop, and crashed into the back of a 2005 Cadillac Escalade, according to news reports.
The Yakima man and the three people inside the Escalade, including a 37, 25 and 27-year-old, were all injured in the collision and transported to Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. The extent of their injuries or their current condition is unknown.
It is unclear why the Yakima man was unable to stop in time to avoid the collision. Washington State Patrol investigators are working to determine the exact cause of the crash.
As a Yakima car accident attorney, I’m saddened to hear about this car accident. I hope all the victims in this crash are able to experience a full and speedy recovery.
