In accordance with different news sources, the carmaker GM is recalling certain model year 2010 and 2011 Cadillac SRX vehicles due to a transmission cable related issue.

The cars manufactured between October 26th 2008 and June 23rd 2011 have a transmission cable that is not properly installed and may come out of the transmission bracket. Owners of all recalled Cadillac SRX vehicles are able get the transmission changed at GM dealers immediately. This replacement will be performed for free and the company is expected to contact consumers during January of 2012.

As a Seattle car accident lawyer, I urge readers to respond to this recall at once. As a concerned attorney, I understand that the use of a faulty vehicle can pose severe risks to drivers and passengers alike. GM has stated that over 1,600 vehicles are being affected by this issue and should be fixed at once.

Whenever you or a close friend is severely injured in an accident that was caused by a third party or a faulty vehicle, a personal injury lawyer can assist you with your case. You may be entitled to monetary compensation as a result of your accident.
