According to several local news agencies and an official release issued by the Washington State Patrol, an accident that took place on the southbound lanes of the SR3 is still under investigation.

The official release issued by the WSP in their website reveals that the accident occurred when a 26-year-old man crashed his motorcycle on the ramp from State Route 3 to the State Route 303 last Sunday. According to a spokesperson for the Washington State Patrol, the accident that happened around 2:17 a.m. is being difficult to investigate since no witnesses have stepped up to reveal what they may have seen happening prior to the crash.

The local authorities claim that it was discovered that another vehicle may have been involved in this crash and that unfortunately, the hit-and-run motorist is still on the loose.

The details revealed by the WSP are that the vehicle involved in this fatal accident could be a four door Mercedes of a newer model.

At this moment, the authorities are urging witnesses with any information related to this accident to step up and contact the WSP immediately.
