One man died in a motorcycle accident late Tuesday night near Maple Valley, Wash., according to news reports.

The fatal bike accident occurred when a man, whose name or age has not been released, was riding a motorcycle about 75 mph in a 40 mph zone east of Maple Valley. As he was riding, he approached a curve in the road in the 25400 block of Landsburg Road SE. He reportedly lost control of his bike at the curve and crashed his bike.

Washington State Patrol troopers and King County sheriff’s deputies said the man died at the scene of the collision. Investigators believe drugs were injured in the crash, according to news reports.

The motorcycle accident is still being investigated.
