Drivers should not ignore the risks associated with some of the most toxic activities drivers can partake while operating a vehicle.

Drowsy driving, along with distracted and intoxicated driving, is one of the most dangerous activities for motorists. Being serious about their safety means never allowing yourself to be too tired to drive. If you want to put safety first, pull over to a safe spot where you can take a nap to avoid accidents.

When driving with family and friends, make sure others are ready to take over if you’re not rested enough to drive safely. If nobody in your entourage is rested enough to take on the wheel, stop and rest. Ignoring these safety tips may put your life in danger.

While drowsy driving often leads to crashes such as the one we have reported on,drivers should not ignore the risks associated with distractions. In order to make sure you’re protected, put the phone away and alert your passengers that they should not distract you while you’re operating your vehicle.
