According the Washington State Patrol, a vehicle that was allegedly going the wrong way sometime after 3:30 a.m. Sunday, was responsible for a head on collision. Reports show that the vehicle was driving eastbound in the westbound lanes of the I-90 when it crashed into another vehicle. The car driving the right way was carrying three people and according to the news, all of those who were involved in this sorrowful accident were taken straight to the hospital.

It was reported that everybody was wearing a seatbelt. Local police took the driver who allegedly caused the accident under custody for further investigations. Officials from the Washington State Patrol claim that the driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.

After the accident the lanes on I-90 remained blocked until authorities could remove the victims and the totaled cars from the scene of the accident.
