A Washington state woman was killed and her husband was injured in a car accident in Ontario, Ore., according to news reports.
The fatal accident occurred Monday afternoon when the Camas, Wash., couple were driving their 1999 Jeep Cherokee in Oregon. As they were traveling, the 62-year-old female driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle and rolled over a guardrail, crashing into a center median divider on Interstate 84, west of Ontario, accoridng to news reports.
The woman, who police believe wasn’t wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the Jeep and died at the scene, according to news reports.
Her husband, who also isn’t believed to have been buckled up, was partially ejected. He is reportedly being treated for non-life threatening injuries in a Boise, Idaho hospital.
