Four people were injured in a single vehicle car accident Monday morning in Auburn, according to news reports.
The crash occurred around 5 a.m. in the in the 40500 block of 180th Avenue Southeast, which is near the White River Amphitheater in Auburn. It is unclear exactly how the crash occurred, but news report videos show a white SUV in a field along the side of the roadway.
Two people were ejected from the SUV in the crash, said Sgt. John Urquhart with the King County Sheriff’s Department, to news reports. Firefighters and medics reported to the scene and were seen treating victims outside the vehicle, in the news video.
The extent of the victim’s injuries or their conditions is unknown, and it is unknown if the passengers who were ejected from the vehicle were wearing their seatbelts.
It is also unclear whether any factors such as speed, distractions or impaired driving played a role in the crash.
As a Tacoma car accident attorney, I hope everyone involved in this car accident experiences a speedy recovery. I hope investigators are able to determine what went wrong in this case to ensure a car accident like this doesn’t happen again. If the crash was a result of road factors, the state may be able to put up road warning signs or alter the speed limit.
