Allergy Alert for Meat Products

M & P Food Production Ltd. has announced a recall of their chicken, beef, veal, and pork dumpling products due to the existence of an undeclared allergen, according to news sources.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service found the presence of milk in the products while conducting routine safety inspections. The products were produced from March 18 to September 19, 2011 and were sold in Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina stores.

The products subject to recall include:

  • 14 oz. pouches of “Bapehuku Beef Dumplings”
  • 16 oz. pouches of “Babushka Brand Beef and Pork Dumplings”
  • 16 oz. pouches of “Babushka Brand Veal Dumplings”
  • 16 oz. pouches of “Babushka Brand Chicken Dumplings”
  • 16 oz. pouches of “Russian Brand Veal Dumplings”
  • 16 oz. pouches of “Russian Brand Chicken Dumplings”
  • 16 oz. pouches of “Siberian Brand Pork Dumplings”
  • 16 oz. pouches of “Siberian Style Dumplings”
