The local news sources have reported that a 22-year-old man from Tukwila was tragically involved in a single-vehicle accident sometime after 1:30 a.m. on Saturday. According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened on the northbound lanes of the State Route 599.

The reports showed that a Honda Civic was going northbound on Route 599 at a high speed when its driver lost control of the vehicle. The car rolled several times until it rested on the right shoulder of the road just south of Highway 99. The media release from the Washington State patrol shows that the driver, a 20-year-old man from Seattle sustained minor injuries but his passenger, the 22-year-old from Tukwila allegedly did not survive.

Authorities claim the driver had a seat belt on but not the passenger. There was a 24-year-old who was a second passenger, he had his seat belt on and was taken to the hospital after the crash for precaution. At this very moment, a personal injury lawyer could be assisting the passenger also involved in this tragic accident.

The news states that drugs or alcohol may have been factors behind this accident. As a Seattle car accident lawyer I’m deeply sad to hear of the young man’s death. My heart and thoughts go the family of the man whose life was lost in this tragic accident.
