According to the news, a bicyclist was severely injured as a result of an accident last Saturday.

The official reports from the Washington State Patrol reveal that the 52-year-old man from Olympia was riding southbound on Meridian Road Northeast when an SUV driven by a 22-year-old from Lacey hit him.

The accident occurred around 11 a.m. at the intersection of the 46th Avenue. According to the authorities, the reasons behind this collision are still being investigated. Charges are still pending.

The bicyclist was rushed to the hospital sustaining serious injuries after the collision while the vehicle was towed away and is expected to cost thousands of dollars in damage to the motorist.

As a car accident lawyer Olympia, I sincerely hope this bicyclist is experiencing a fast and full recovery. I urge drivers to always follow the traffic regulations and share the roads with bicycle riders. I also would like to urge bicyclists to always wear their protection and reflection gear.

Whenever you or a loved one is injured in a bicycle accident, you may want to call a personal injury lawyer in your city to assess your case in a timely manner.
