The Washington State Patrol is investigating a tragic and fatal accident that allegedly happened Saturday night, according to recent news articles.

A 20-year-old woman from Des Moines had her life allegedly taken after an unfortunate one-vehicle crash. The accident happened on Interstate 5 sometime around 9 p.m. just north of SR-518, according to the authorities.

Official reports from local officers and the Washington State Patrol state that the woman was driving a 2004 Montero vehicle when she missed her exit. The moment she tried to make a quick turn to the right, the car hit a curb. The news claimed that the vehicle rolled over and allegedly projected the woman out of the car. She was sadly pronounced dead by the WSP upon the authorities arrival. Other three passengers, two 17-year-olds and one 16 year-old were injured and taken immediately to the hospital.

There are no more details regarding the health state of the teenagers who were involved in this accident. The Washington State Patrol claims none of them was wearing a seatbelt.

As a Tacoma personal injury lawyer I sincerely offer my deepest condolences to the family of the woman who tragically lost her life as a result of this accident. Personal injury lawyers in Washington hope that similar accidents will be avoided and urge all readers to always fasten their seat belts, regardless of the distance you will be traveling.
