Wrestling Action Figures Recalled Due to Violation of Lead Paint Standard

Super Luchamania Action Figures have been voluntarily recalled by Lee Carter Co. in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

In accordance with several news sources across the country, the reason for the recall is to comply with federal law, which prohibits excessive levels of lead in surface paints on the action figures. The use of these particular recalled products should be stopped immediately since they could pose a serious health hazard to children.

Parents are advised to return the recalled action figures to the manufacturer for a full refund or credit towards a replacement product.

As a Bellevue personal injury attorney, I urge parents to be aware of all toy recall news so your child is always safe from hazardous and potentially dangerous products.

Whenever you or a dear friend is injured as a result of handling a defective or hazardous consumer product, call a personal injury lawyer in your area and ask about the legal options available to your case.

Do not delay.
