“Tres Leches Cakes” Recalled Over Plastic Fragment Concern

Due to the possibility of containing plastic fragments, Price Chopper Supermarkets has announced a voluntary recall on some of their most popular bakery items.

According to several news sources, the items affected are the five inch and eight inch Central Market Classics Tres Leches cakes. All consumers who have purchased the possibly contaminated cakes can return the remaining items to Price Chopper for a full refund.

The official statement released by the FDA claims that the recalled items have been available for purchase from Price Chopper Supermarkets since July 10, 2011.

As a Federal Way personal injury lawyer, I urge consumers to check their food items for the recalled cakes, in case you have a recalled item in your possession, don’t hesitate to contact the manufacturer right away.

I encourage readers to keep it in mind that you should contact a personal injury lawyer as soon as possible whenever you or a close friend is injured or severely harmed after handling or consuming a recalled product.

A knowledgeable lawyer should be able to elucidate all your doubts.
