A crash on Highway 105 claimed one life, according to the local news.

The official reports from the Washington State Patrol have revealed that a 31-year-old man was driving on the northbound lanes of the Highway 105 last Saturday when he lost grip of the wheel. The man from Grayland hit a power pole after the vehicle unexpectedly crossed the centerline, overcorrected and went off the freeway.

According to information recently released by the Washington State Patrol and the news, three children and two adults were involved in a wreck that occurred last Wednesday morning.

The accident took place on Highway 101 after the SUV went down an embankment off the road and hit a tree. One of the children was reportedly ejected from the vehicle as a result of the impact. The authorities have not disclosed details regarding injuries.

According to a statement from a witness, the vehicle lost one of its wheels prior to the crash but the authorities didn’t yet confirm this information.
