The Wednesday accident happened when the speeding car crashed into the three people, forcing them against the side of a building. The woman and the children were rushed to the hospital suffering from serious injuries. One of the children nearly lost both his his legs. Thanks to surgeons, the child was able to keep his limbs after hours of surgery.
The woman pushed one of the boys before the car crashes into them, putting her own life in jeopardy as a result.
The victims are now recovering from this tragic occurrence. The driver, a 37-year-old man, was also injured but not nearly as seriously as the three who were rushed to the hospital. He was reportedly distracted. After the accident, he was charged with reckless driving, failure to stop, and driving without insurance.
